Deepening Policy Advisors’ Understanding of U.S. Supply Chain Diversification Policy
OVERVIEW
From May 21-25, Global New Orleans hosted a group of professionals for a program centered on U.S. supply chain diversification and policy coordination. Participants delved into the national and sub-national economic issues shaping U.S. supply chain policy, with a specific focus on industries such as chips, electric vehicle batteries, pharmaceuticals, and critical minerals. Through a series of meetings and discussions, they gained insights into how these industries are managed and explored the strategic goals of diversifying supply chains to enhance resilience. This program also fostered U.S.-ROK bilateral relations, promoting valuable connections between decision makers from both countries.
