Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development

OVERVIEW

From May 16-21, we had the privilege of hosting a diverse group of entrepreneurs in New Orleans for a program focused on the essential role small businesses play in driving economic growth. The participants explored various business models designed to stimulate local economies and foster community development. Through site visits and discussions, they examined factors such as innovation, access to capital, government incentives, and the removal of growth barriers. Additionally, they learned about the influence of the Internet and social media in expanding business opportunities, while gaining insights into public-private partnerships and business incubators that support entrepreneurial success.
