We are so excited to announce that Global New Orleans, in partnership with Global Ties U.S. and the U.S. Department of State is hosting a Regional Summit, "Crescent City Connections: Creativity Through Exchange." This event will take place from September 22–24 and will be a vibrant showcase of the creative and cultural economy of New Orleans, aiming to foster dialogue on diplomacy and cooperation in our ever-changing world.

This summit will bring together ~200 national partners and local attendees and provide a unique platform for sharing best practices, innovative approaches, and collaborative strategies to enhance cultural programming and build stronger, more connected, and resilient societies. Attendees will learn about the cultural and creative economy of New Orleans, with sessions in advocacy, youth engagement, entrepreneurship, cultural preservation and sustainable tourism during a full day of programming at renowned city landmark Gallier Hall.

We are also thrilled to announce that this year, we are celebrating our 80th anniversary and will host an opening reception at the New Orleans Jazz Museum. The event will feature the things we do best; food, drinks, music and celebration! Keep an eye out for special access to our exclusive patron party featuring Oysters XO, swag bags, and more surprises to come!
